Where are print driver presets stored in OS X?

Where are print driver presets stored in OS X?

2008-01-11 by chriskjezp

I just bought a new Mac Pro and will be manually migrating files from
my G5 PPC. I have several printer presets for three different
printers, and I'd really hate to lose them. Where are they stored? I
want to make sure I drag them over to the new MP.

Thanks.

Why are you doing it manually, you can just firewire connect them and
it will transfer all your stuff to the new computer?

I've been told by many Apple gurus that it's not a good idea to use
Migration Assistant to migrate data from a Power-PC based machine (G5)
to an Intel-based machine (Mac Pro) because they use different system
software in some cases.

I did it on two towers and a laptop and it worked fine. Just my
experience.

Mark,

You migrated from a G5 to an Intel-based PC twice with no problems?

Thanks,
Chris

I have migrated a dozen machines without issue, Chris.

Cheers
