Ilford Gold Fiber

2008-01-17 by steveh0607

Hi Everyone,

I just bought a box of Ilford Gold Fiber to try out with the R2400. I'm getting what look like
very faint, closely spaced vertical lines. They're not roller marks as I'm familiar with those.

I've fed the paper through the single sheet feeder (not the top letter feeder) and the front
loader. I see the lines when printed using the single sheet feeder, but when using the front
loader the print has a faint ghost effect as if the paper isn't thick enough for it.

I've used Innova F Type Fiba Gloss (300 gsm) as well as Harmon Gloss FB AI (320 gsm) so I
don't think it's a matter of paper thickness.

So, has anyone else seen this problem?

Thanks, Steve

I used the top feeder with no problems. I find the paper very nice.
