Digital BW, The Print

a. I am  still having trouble reading clayton jones' article on ps cs
on an epson 2200
when I open an bw image it often asks me what working space i want to
be in

when I go front end , I go to ps image/mode/grayscale I dicard
color as asked I then go to edit and assign profile I get three options
1. dont color manage
2. working gray dot 20% and
3. profile with a pull down window with option for 15 dot 20 etc as
well as gray gamma 1.8 2.2
I dont see these option in his article

any help with which choice of the  above three option I select?


I think I am ok when I go to print with preview and select "dont
color manage"

These are explained in detail in article #4.  In article #3a on
2200/BO there is this note with a link to #4:

 "Note: Article #4, "Using Color Settings And Profiles", 
 contains more detailed information on this subject.  
 This is recommended reading for a fuller understanding 
 of the subject."

Please have a look at that and I think it will answer your questions.
