iPhoto B & W Conversion?

iPhoto B & W Conversion?

2008-01-28 by TFielder

Guys,

I appreciate all the discussion on conversion to B & W. I am
wondering if any of the Mac users may have any thoughts on using
iPhoto to do the conversion to B & W. It would appear that by using
the Adjust palette that one could simply move the saturation all the
way to the left and then use the R, G & B adjustment to refine the
photo. iPhoto offers the ability to brighten and adjust contrast as
well as sharpen the photo. Is this workflow too simple or am I
missing something?

Many thanks,

TEF

Once I started processing RAW I never opened iphoto again. I use
Camera Raw PSCS3

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
