Calumet Brilliant Museum Papers

Calumet Brilliant Museum Papers

2008-01-31 by frankbickelmeyer

Ive tried Brilliant Museum Silver Gloss white and Brilliant Museum
Satin Matte white and natural and i am very happy with these
(baryttype) papers. 300g paper good to handle and very nice surfaces.
Ive tried it with my Epson 1200 with TritonPlus neutral grayinks. Is
there anyone else with experience with these papers?

Hi Mike,
here is a a link of the manufacturer:
http://www.brilliantpaper.com/brilliantmuseum.html
as far as i know its a german paper. I had the opportunity to compare
it to hahnemühle photorag and fineart pearl. It is very similar to
them but much cheaper!
I like the Brilliant museum silver gloss with its semiglossy surface
and the museum satin matte with its matte surface very much!

Thanks! your link really helped.

One more question on the Museum Silver Gloss I noticed it comes in two
finishes, White and Natural. Anyone have a preference or a strong feeling of
one versus the other??

I really prefer the white because its brighter than the natural. It
looks great to me! But of course it has oba.
