Hi Michael.

I have found the same thing with the 1280 and Paul's curves and the MIS
variable tone inks. Compared side by side with a piezo, they are practically
identical. Of course I much prefer the cooler tones. MIS blacks seem to be
just the tiniest bit deeper than the piezo black ink. The Generations
enhanced black and the Generations BETA black seem identical. I find the
blackest ink is Generations Beta/Enhanced, with MIS so close you aren't
really sure if they are the same or the tiniest bit lighter. The Piezo black
seems the lightest of the 4, but we're really splitting hairs here. They are
all very good. Wouldn't surprise me if they had the same base ink.
