What inks do you intend to use? And what RIP, if any?
In my experience, the Epson driver with UC inks does not produce accurate B&W results.
Quadtone RIP is much better at driving the ink set and producing almost acceptable
results, but with UC inks I still got a lot of color cast and bronzing.
Paul Roark (www.paulroark.com), who also is a regular contributor here, proposes some
approaches with MIS inks that are very promising, but I have not tried them yet.
