I'm just curious as to how these dual purpose inks work for matte papers or how do they compare with the K7 inksets? Thanks! Steve B

I don't use the other K7 inks here, but have seen a lot of great output from them by wonderful printers like Walker Blackwell and John Dean, and K2 Press, as well as Cone Editions themselves. These seem to be right in line with them on matte papers. Actually, I think they are drop dead gorgeous on a few of them, German Etching in particular, as well as Museum Etching. A few other on this list could back that up with their opinions too. > --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "mxgo95747" <mxgo95747@...> wrote: ... > >... Martin, a quick note, I don't think this process is really available as a plug and play yet, and I hope this doesn't seem like something I'm attempting to promote as a product. Jon will have his own single pass plug and play approach at some point in the future, and this makes no attempt to represent that. It's something I worked up on my own. Tyler

A few years ago, you printed some Viet Namese seascapes ( fishing boats) on what I believe was Selenium Tone on H. Photo Rag and the prints are great. I would be interested in these possible additions to your printing services. Martin

Martin, my origianl post about this whole thing explains the reasons for the samples- http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint/message/90802 Thanks for your comments, whether or not I continue to dedicate a printer to the setup will depend on all the feedback...
