Photo Exchange

2008-04-16 by p_bien

Anyone interested in participating in a photo exchange? I'm thinking
of something simple and easy to easy to manage. I
know some folks make money (or their living) in selling their
photographs. I'm not looking for freebies from the pros (although I'd
love to have you participate as well). I was thinking of the amateur
folks who enjoy creating their own work and collecting works of others.
We could limit paper sizes to something reasonable (8.5X11 or 11x14)
and send a single favorite image in exchange for same from others. I
finally have my printing going well with Eboni matt-black-only using an
Epson R1800/3MK/QTR system with fine papers.

Let me know of any interest and I'll create a mailing list and try to
organize in a reasonable fashion.

Thanks
Paul Bien

There is an online phone exchange black and white group:
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/DigitalBW-PrintExchanges/

(cross posted).

It is a very good group and can always use new members. Go to the
above link and take a look. Nancy

Paul -

I've done a few print swaps in the past with mixed
emotions on it - I received some class A work that I
was proud to own, and also some real garbage. At least
in this forum, I'm guaranteed well printed garbage
(joke, honestly!)

Count me in.
