Dust removal
2008-08-11 by Richard Smallfield
Hi, while printing with especially large pieces of paper I've learnt not to wear woollen clothes because of the number of fibres that they generate that easily end up on the paper. Then I had a thought: wouldn't it be a good idea for printers to have an electrostatic dust attractor before the print head? It might greatly reduce the number of 'flakes' that appear in our prints - which, I find, are mostly dust particles.
