I am considering an inkjetmall CIS for my 2400, using (as I am now) K7 inks. I'd be interested in hearing from other users about their experience with this cart-less system. TIA Harry

I use a superjet off ebay with no problems. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Harry Lockwood" <hflockwood@...> wrote: > > --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Harry Lockwood" > <hflockwood@> wrote: > > > > I am considering an inkjetmall CIS for my 2400, using (as I am now) K7 inks. Of three CIS ink Systems, My InkRepublic CIS is the easiest to instal, and works the most dependably. It includes a waste ink tank as well. It uses dampers instead of cart.s which makes it easy to start. I have R1800s which are not that different then a R2400.

Installed and runs trouble free. The chips are auto reset which makes long print much more efficient. Just need to keep an eye on the ink levels in the feed bottles. The bottles hold about 100ml. of ink. Cheers, Mark

I have two 2400s' and a 1400. On the 1400 I have a CIS with Jon Cone's Special K6 inks and have had excellent results for over 6 months. However, I installed two CIS systems on the 2400s' with his color inks and had nothing but problems. For some reason the the cyan inks kept clogging and were impossible to clear. I finally threw in the sponge and have since gone back to Epson cartridges. Since I have a lot of Cone color ink, I ordered MIS spongeless Epson cartridges and will fill them with the Cone ink and will replace the Epson cartridges as they expire. I found the Cone color inks excellent and thought the ICC profiles he provided were excellent. Hopefully this will do the trick. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "densible" <mark@...> wrote: > > --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Harry Lockwood" > <hflockwood@> wrote: > > > > --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Harry Lockwood" > > <hflockwood@> wrote: > > > > > > I am considering an inkjetmall CIS for my 2400, using (as I am > now) K7 inks. Thanks to all for inputs on a CIS for the 2400. I now have info I can use in making a decision. Harry -- Harry F. Lockwood
