Refilling Epson Cartridges, my experiences

OK, I guess it's my turn to share what I discovered to success in my Epson 1800. I now have 8 Epson printers running, and after weeks of frustration with the 1800, I discovered a way to eliminate the clog issue, using MIS Pigment color inks, with Eboni in both K positions, and the glop. You simply add a dash of Windex to the MIS ink...before refilling the cartridges. I figured out, that Epson is probably adding Windex or ammonia to their ink cartridges; after removing the stock carts from this printer after the initial run, I could clearly smell it...after years of prior cleared up allergies, my nose is in pretty good shape now...(and I am a chef, and can tell right away what is happening.) And sure enough it works...the quantity or ratio I don't know...I just added a dash of Windex to each ink bottle, before refilling the carts, and it worked. But don't go out and buy an 1800, buy a 1400... it is a great printer with no clog issues using MIS eboni. (The 1800 sucks.)
