Digital BW, The Print

Hi folks:

I recently wrote an article about RIPs (and products that are similar  
to RIPs) for Professional Photographer magazine. They posted the  
article in its entirety here:

After looking closely at all of them, I was surprised to see how many

Hi Greg:

Thanks for your comments. There are probably 20-30 RIPs that are used  
in production by different companies. I chose a sampling of those  
that I thought many photographers (and to a much lesser extent, POP  
and sign printers) might consider based on my experience with them.  
It would be great to read overviews and reviews of some of the other  
RIPs out there by fine-art photographers and print-for-pay/ateliers.
