scanning and printing weekend class- Portland

2009-05-21 by Tyler Boley

Will be doing a scanning and printing overview weekend class in Portland at Newspace Center For Photography July 11th and 12th.-

Obviously that's a lot of ground to cover in 2 days, so keeping workflow standards high and general concepts to take away and work on will be stressed, including getting a working general concept of color management.
Of some interest, I'll have a lot of different output to see, from Epson, HP, and alternative Cone B&W ink sets, and a lot of papers.
This is not specifically a B&W workshop, but of course some time will be spent on it, not just an afterthought.
I would call this a mid-entry level couple of days...

Other's might have better suggestions. The two commercial locations I can think of:

Future light. They have classes in the San Francisco Calumet store. I don't know how big their labs are.

Rayko in San Francisco
They have a pretty large digital center as well as wet darkrooms.
