A quick look through what little information is there and all I see is an image layout application that interfaces to the manufacturer's printer driver and uses the regular RGB features of the printer.
If you are looking for a workflow tool, then it might be worth having. If you are looking for something that will give you control over ink limits and linearization (and several other key areas), I saw no indication that you have this level of control. In fact the online manual left a lot to be desired and I would probably skip it based on that manual unless it was really cheap.
It wouldn't surprise me if most of the code came from Open Print Maker, Gimp, and Gutenprint.
