Hey Alan,

How about "archival digital print from traditional film negative with a
dollop of nail polish remover in the upper right corner where I made a
mistake"? :) :) :)

Yup, conservationists want removable, but I wouldn't think that includes Duco
and acetone. Do you have a local museum or good archival framer you can
check with?

The tiny amount required will not affect your health.
Duco is removable with acetone - fingernail polish remover. Acetate (Duco)
cement can't hurt you once it is dry any more than paint will. Acetone will
devolve the cement once it dries. Conservationists, I am told, like stuff
that is removable without affecting paper yet is water-proof.<<

Museums collect based on artistic merit not on possible archival problems.
If you look through old prints you will see all sorts of stuff on the backs.
That helps in determine provenance. All I care about for my own work is if
the stickum doesn't soak into the print. Duco dries very fast and wipes off
leaving little trace on the back. I receive no financial or other support
from the Duco Institute of Stickum.
