Hello Michael,
The detected virus resides with the exec file stored on the rapidshare server whose link was posted in the original message.
At this point, I fail to see how your gmail account is corrupted.
Just to be on the safe side and if you want to pursure this, I would recommend a firewall and antivirus software. Both are just about the best there is and they are free although for personal use only. If you have any doubts, you'd be surprised by what Avira can detect.
