Brightcube satin

I've just used my remaining sheets of this product, Which became unavailable several years ago. I wonder if any of you who might have used it then, have since discovered a paper like it. It was quite remarkable, both for colour and B&W, and it would be grand to find a similar surface.

http://store.ultrafineonline.com/ may still have Brightcube Satin. Search for it in their search box.

That coating appears to be about the same as on Hawk Mtn. Condor.

From what I can tell, the coating was refined into what became the Premier Art Smooth BW. There are clear similarities, but the PA Smooth BW is better in my view. (I still have a few sheets of Satine myself.)

The UltraFine store, above, appears to be the re-branded Photo Warehouse, which was the retail outlet of Premier Imaging -- but they tried to have a "Chinese wall" between them to keep the two independent and encourage other distributors to carry the products.

Thanks Paul; good link! I reckon I'd better try the Premier surface, though. Since you still have some Brightcube, you're in a good position to make a comparison.

I bought a bunch of Brightcube from Inkjet Mall a number of years ago, so I'm pretty familiar with the product. I still have several partial boxes I need to use up. (At the moment, too lazy to build a profile for my Canon iPF6100.) Moab Entrada Bright White is a very close match, in terms of color gamut, look/feel. You might try that. A "better" paper, if you are interested, is Museo Portfolio Rag. A very, very nice paper.
