I've been using the Brandin curves on an 1160, printing onto EAM and Museo. I'm getting results that are comparible, if not better, than conventional silver prints. If you're used to printing with the Epson driver, the Brandin curves are quite different. The Epson driver compresses the shadows and highlights. The Brandin curves will print detail all the way to pure black and pure white. If you don't adjust the image tonal range to include some areas of pure white and pure black, the print will look dull. Can you be more specific about what you find lacking in your results?
