Digital BW, The Print

Hello All,

 I am a beginner with B&W digital printing and 
photography(trained as a lithographer). I have been using Paul 
Roark's VM curves for the Photo 1200 which I considered to be 
the closest in hardware to the Photo EX which I am using. The 
curves work remarkably well with the EX but I am getting quite a 
jump in value when the black ink starts kicking in at about 90%. 
All the values from 90 to 100% seem the same. For many this 
wouldn't be a big problem but my images tend to be very dark. 
I've been trying to adjust Paul's curves with not much luck so far. I 
can't figure out how to adjust the black ink without affecting the 
other values. Thought I would see if anyone else is having the 
same problem.

I would also like to thank Paul for his work on these curves and 
everyone in the group. You have saved me from having to do a lot 
of work and make a lot of mistakes.
