what about Eboni (Eb5 or EB6) on baryta papers?

what about Eboni (Eb5 or EB6) on baryta papers?

Eboni inksets are known to be dedicated to matte papers, and this does not bother me so far, because I love matte paper.
But I'm also found of testing :o)

So: is there any chance to get nice results with Eboni sets on Hahnemühle FA Baryta or PhotoRag Baryta for instance?

Cheers

If glop or a spray and a PK are used, matte-only ink can be controlled for the midtones. Concentrated Eboni MK can make the most neutral 100% carbon print if warm carbon PK is used for the 100% black end of the curve. Dilute Eboni/Carbon-6 midtones make a very warm print.

I, personally, don't think making glossy prints with Eboni-based inks is worth the effort, but it is a route to very warm, near sepia tones with the dilute Eboni.

OK... If I have once time to do tests, I will try it: depending on the results I will be able to say that I'm making Art, people cannot understand :o)

Many thanks,
