Doepfer

in addition to other statements i'd like to say that there are much
more sound than pads and, in contrast to these, goofy bleebs ;) 
very nice monophonic leadsounds for example. or arpeggio-like
sequences with those "bleep"-square sounds, like on old tangerine
dream records. 
this is definitely a strength of modular systems, and - as i guess -
the a100 is capable of such sounds too. 
on the other hand the more experimental doepfer modules are not
limited to lofi techno, but maybe also for just THIS one sound that
sounds NOT like virtual analog. 
but i am sorry: i am not able to make examples of these sounds,
because my doepfer system is still very tiny ;) (still growing). but i
was able to listen to bigger doepfer modulars a few weeks ago.
