I'm interested to know if anyone here uses the blacet wavetable Vco in a doepfer system and how easy it was to power up using a doepfer system or what you have to do to get the blacet stuff working using a doepfer casing ?do you needa seperate Psu ? izim, i have a mini-wave with the hylander basic expander (i didn`t opt for the option of v.c. rom switching via circuitry on a daugtherboard) and 7 "factory" and "3rd party" rom`s. this is very versatile and great fun also. :^) no, the frac stuff does require alternate casing and power which, depending on one`s set-up, can be inconvenient (it wasn`t in my case). work`s fine with the a-11o vco and the rest of my doepfer module`s. if you can handle the power/packaging, a definite "buy" recommendation even without the rom expander board ( even just the 2 "factory" rom`s give tremendous variety). best, dave [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
