Doepfer

That's really an incredible price. Just the ring core/toroid transformer of
our PSU2 is about twice this price...

I assume that it's a switched power supply for computer applications and the
voltages cannot be adjusted. That's OK for 95% of all modules but for some
modules (e.g. A-114, A-126) the voltages should be as close as possible to
+12.00/-12.00V. And we have no experiences with interferences of switched
power supplies. If anybody has experience please let me know. We think about
a low-cost version of the A-100 frames with a switched power supply instead
of the expensive linear PSU2 with toroid/ring core transformer. But we want
to be sure that switched power supplies do not cause problems
(interferences, hum or high frequency noise and similar).
