Yes, Boss effects! But also I've got a few pedals I made from PCB's from Tonepad, and I thought I could put them onto faceplates and stow them in the rack rather than with wires and pots spewed out across my desk. I hadn't thought about doing that with the 5v adaptor, but I just had a look at my AD5 and checked out the chip, it appears Rapid do the same chip with a variety of outputs, I think I could try the 8v output and see what happens. Not sure what the little capacitor is for though?!
   Also I thought that if I could get the PSU to output + - 9v I could plug a Soundlab in..
