That's the specification "the max. current is 1200 mA for both +12V and -12V" > Do the modules use power evenly? No. Normally the current@+12V is more that @-12V (but not for all modules). If a module contains LEDs the current changes while the illumination of the LEDs change. Even if a parameter changes (e.g. frequency) the current may vary. But the specified current of a module is always the worst case (e.g. all LEDs at max. brightness, and for @+12V or @-12V, according to which is more). So you are always on the safe side if you add up the currents of all modules of the system in question. The sum has to be less than 1200mA. Best wishes Dieter Doepfer
