That's not normal. I just tested the A-113 in our demo systems. It follows
the incoming frequency (rectangle output of an A-110 was used) over 10
octaves without any problems. Pay attention that the controlling signal
should be a reactangle with about 50% duty cycle (e.g. not only short 10% or
90% pulses). Which signal is used in your patch as rectangle input for the
A-113 ?

If you are not familiar with electronics I'd ask a specialist to do the
modification. Indeed it's simple (removing two solder bridges and making two
new ones on the bottom of the PSU pcb) but the safety rules have to be
followed. Otherwise there is danger to life. We have a pdf file available
that describes the modification. You can get this document if you contact me

In this case two A-100AD5 on two different bus boards are required (one for
A-113 with 100mA, the second for the A-191).
