A SEM filter would really make me reconsider my choice, last year, not to go a100. That would be the obvious number one choice for my first starter mini-modular. (Having the new mini case in mind) Today I use 2 Allen Heath VF-1´s, with tube distortion and env follower + midi control. And as substitute for VCA:s I use 2, very simple but useful, dual channel midi volume controller´s. Although I´m very satisfied with the setup, I stayed in the Doepfer a100 users group, to follow the increasingly tempting modules coming up. SEM filter, bring it on!!!
