Re: [Doepfer_a100] First modular system?

2007-05-06 by Thighpaulsandra

Hi Peter,

In my experience the Doepfer is much more extensive, better conceived
and more reliable than the Analogue Systems.

I'd start with the Doepfer Basic system 2. The only thing I would
possibly change ( but this is personal preference ) is that I would
use Plan B Model 15 VCOs as these have the richest sound and are the
most versatile of any I've tried. Also Peter Grenader at Plan B is a
great guy to do business with.
Having said that Plan B does not have UK distribution so you'd have
to buy from him direct from the USA as I do. This is a little slow
but definitely worth it. All the Plan B modules are very well
thought out and everything 'feels' right.

Anyway that's my 2p's worth. If you want any further advice don't
hesitate to get in touch.

Best wishes,

Thighpaulsandra.
