Can you help? > > Best regards > Jari Jokinen As our new DIY/OEM product WHEEL ELECTRONICS can be used with the BC3 too we made some investigations during the last few months. The BC3 uses a hall sensor and requires a positive supply. We tried successfully +5V as we could not find a spec concerning the allowed max. supply range for the BC3. The operational amplifier (MC4558) used in the BC3 will work even with a higher supply voltage but we are not sure concerning the max. supply voltage for the hall sensor (we could not find a data sheet of the THS105 hall sensor). With +5V supply the BC3 outputs a voltage in the range of about +5V (no pressure) ... +2V (max. pressure). So you need some additional electronics to make available a +5V supply and to invert and amplify the CV coming from the BC3 as +5...+2V are not very useful. Best wishes Dieter Doepfer
