Hi martin > the layout of the frontpanels (too small), Definitely, but standard for a lot of other systems (AS, EFM, ...) > no logic relations between different/simular modules, like the a-120&a-121. The 120 and 121 are special, since the 120 was created as one of the first modules, while the A-100 was only a testing balloon. All later filters hagve similar layout. > therfore im planning to build my own frontplates using > ***larger aluminium frontpanels(three sizes +100% in y-axis(LONGER)) > ***moore spacing between knobs, > ***in/out jacks&knobs on same x&y axis from mod. to mod. > ***better marking /diffrent colours on audioin&out, cvin&out,tr in etc. > ***switch from 3.5" to bananajacks? (how to do?) > someone else on the same wavelength?? I am planning this too, but for the far future. You have to unsolder all pots/switches/plugs from the pcb. The pots and switches can be used on the frontpanel; fixing is done by the screw thread. My favourite size is the one of the moog/ppg/formant modules.
