Basically the 110's are based on the same VCO schematics as in the moog 
prodigy (and others). This is soundwise not the worst relationship.

I know only about two aspects which might be seen as negative:
1.) octave tracking is ok only over four or five octaves (not relevant 
for bass)
2.) continuous tuning is available only for ~6 or 7 semitones. Wider 
tunings have to be done with the octave switches. If you don't like 
this, then the tuning range can be extended very easy (adding a single 
resistor).
