Hi all, I've finally entered the world of modulars. I got a good Doepfer setup from ebay last week and it's been great fun so far :-) I don't know how the unit has been stored - or if this is just a problem with 3.5mm jacks - but I have a few intermittent connections and so I'd like to give all (!) the sockets a good clean. Anyone got a favoured method? Or is just a case of spraying contact cleaner around the place? Is there a burnishing tool available for minijacks? Also, I don't know if the supplied patch cables are original Doepfer or not but they seem a bit feeble. Can anyone suggest a source of high quality patch leads or am I better off making my own? thanks!
