Only modules manufactured before ~ 2002 may be affected by this problem as the material used for the spring contact was a bit too flimsy and not curled (the new socket used from ~ 2002 have so called "curly contacts"). By the way modules from all manufacturers that used the 3.5 mm Cliff sockets have been affected by this problem, not only A-100 modules (as sometimes stated).
