But for a beginner it's not a bad idea to start with the basic "Minimoog-Patch" (VCO-VCF-VCA with VCF and VCA controlled by two ADSRs) to understand the basics. It's better to understand the basics before you begin with the more elaborate patches what the modular system is made for.
