The pin is pinched off intentionally as the EEPROM manufacturer has changed the meaning of this pin from MODE to WRITE CONTROL. For the pcb layout of the A-190 the pin has to be removed. Otherwise the EEPROM would be write protected (i.e. it would not be possible to store new data). Please leave it as it is. Otherwise the A-190 will not work any more ! Best wishes Dieter Doepfer
