A-112 battery

I can see that the battery in the A-112 needs to be replaced. There is
some leakage on the top side and I have never had to remove the
battery so I'm not sure what I'm looking at. 

Questions:

How does one remove the battery?
Does RadioShack sell replacements or do I buy one from Shawn?
