Hi M (a city is looking for a murderer ;-)) > How do I get the highest frequency out of an A-110? I think the sum of all CVs should not exceed 10 V. According to the service manual http://www.doepfer.de/a110_tec.htm the Octave switch gives without any additional CV a Frequency of around 1kHz at the highest position (+ 2 Oct). This feeds 5V to the summing point, so additional 5 Volts should give you the highest possible frequency. This is theory, I did not try this in reality. I think, the musically usable range of the exponentiator circuit ends around ~3000Hz. Keep in mind, this is a lowcost VCO. > How do you set an A-136 Distortion/Waveshaper to "neutral", > letting a signal pass through the module more or less > unaffected? According to http://www.doepfer.de/a100_man/a136_man.htm A to 6,5 +A and -A to 12:00 o'clock position (I don't own a A136) > I'd like to hear people's opinions about the A-174 Joy Stick. That is true of course; I think in general a more desk like position of the surface is much better, but it can take a lot of space. A friend owns a A100 in the suitcase housing: very cool handling!
