Doepfer

I noticed the upcoming A-190-2 Low Cost MIDI-to-CV/Gate Interface at 
Doepfer site:

Would it not be a good to get rid of the range limitation (0...+5V)? 
That would be benefit when used with large keyboards, computers, wind 
controllers etc. Also, it could sometimes make things easier, if the 
unit could output negative voltages too.
