Hi There, Im working with Pro Tools on Mac OS Leopard platform, not only using it for recording audio but also for midi sequencing. But i have found that if i use the software clock as master i dont get the tight but groovy feel im used to have if i use my MPC2000 or Drum Machines as masters. Someone told me it may be for the software clock resolution, much more limited than the hardware´s. The point here is: I have a couple of analogue synths and im looking to start my modular analogue, i am very curious about analogue sequencers such as the MAQ16/3. But first i need your advice, should i a better feel out of it?, can it work as master clock source on a recording envoirment with pro tools as slave?. is that a common use on other musicians working with pro tools and analogue gear?
