Doepfer

I'm looking to buy a step-down voltage converter for my modular so that I can use my 115v a100-LC6 in Europe, and was wondering what the appropriate wattage should be for the converter...  It's my understanding that the a-100lc9 will be less than about 72 Watts or so (right?), however is there an initial voltage spike that I should be concerned about?  

Also, does the minicase voltage spike?
