This function is not necessarily associated with a touch keyboard. It's kind of an dressed sequencer with 3 potentiometer rows. The addressing can be voltage controlled, Midi note controlled or button controlled. Of course you may use a TKB to adress the step of the sequencer but that's only one of many possibilities.
