can i saw the diy kit 2 in 2 pieces and use the piece without the 3 leds and 3 resistors on the bus board? in other words, will everything work as well hen i connect the low cost supply adapter to the left half (7 busses on the left in the picture) http://www.doepfer.de/A100_DIY_kit_2.jpg if this works i can fit 3 doepfer modules and a formant module in a small ikea shelf http://www.ikea.com/PIAimages/35778_PE126676_S4.jpg
