Mounting one of the standard A-100 potentiometers next to a miniature jack
socket as close as possible takes about 33-34 mm. The width of a 6 HP panel
is only 30 mm. To reduce the width of the front panel the elements have to
be arranged on top of each other (like the new A-183-x modules).
