Re: [Doepfer_a100] a question on power and another on the bus board

no, busboards of different rows are not connected by default. you need these special cables mentioned on the doepfer website.

also, having the A190, means that your case should also have the A100AD5 low cost +5volts adapter.

      Hello list!

I'm thinking about moving my basic set worth of A-100 modules to a 9U

low-cost case, but some questions came up. I would greatly appreciate some

help from you on these points:

(1) I currently own a standard system 2---that is the version with an A-190

MIDI to CV module. I got this system in late 2003 or early 2004. Now does my

set have an A-100AD5 low-cost 5-volt adapter for the A-190 or maybe an

A-100NT5 5-volt power supply? I can't check this myself since I'm away at

the moment. Hopefully it's the A-100AD5 since it would be a lot easier to

transfer that to the new case.

(2) I want to have a single CV/gate bus running through the whole 9U

low-cost case. Are the three bus boards connected like this as a default? If

not, then I guess I need to get a couple of those special cables for this.

Thanks already!
