yeah i did a full reset. but i will try again. like a said im pretty sure i did everything and its still not working properly. thanks for the help.

clock polarity doesnt reset with a partial reset (menu button, power on),
but should with full reset (all four buttons held, power on)

if you did a full reset and the polarity is still not back to factory then
it may be your unit is faulty :(
