Speaker output as input into A-100

I wanted to take a speaker output from a white noise generator and use it as a line level input into the A-100 modular.  The power rating on the white noise generator is 5 watts.  Would this damage the A-100, and would it provide a "hot" enough signal for the A-100 operating line level?
