Hi,
Following on from a post I started on muffwiggler i was wondering about the suggestion of a exponential Envelope / complex control source along similar lines to the Cwejman CTG-VC see (http://www.cwejman. net/tg-1- webb4.pdf).
As far I know but correct me if i'm wrong, none of the Doepfer EGs have the ability to have log/exp curves on different stages of the EG's. I know by using feedback on the VC EG you can get a similar effect but it is a fiddly job to do and would not be easy to control just the attack section and not decay for example or the other way around.
The ideal version would be a digital EG where you could apply any type of preset curve (maybe make your own with a usb up/down load link to a PC) to any stage of the EG, similar to the complex multistage EG's in soft synths like NI massive or Omnisphere with looping etc.
Anybody else think that this would be a good idea?.
Regards
Paul
