I don't think, that 2 minicases ("beautycases") are a good idea. If you 
want to use a module, which is a little wider, like for example the 104 
113 or 101-1, then you would waste the remaining space, because the 
standard 8HP-wide modules would not fit in there.

I definitely recommend to look for a used suitcase frame, or a lowcost case.

Regarding a recommendation for modules, it would be helpful if you tell 
us, what kind of sound you want to do with your system. There is a big 
difference between the modules for electronic dancefloor orientated 
music and the modules for heuristic experimental noise sounds.
