Can you describe the music that you'd like to make? Prog? Dance? Experimental? Sound processing? If you are happy with the Arturia software you'll be aware of the building blocks of a traditional modular. You'll need the same in a real world system. So oscillators, filters, VCA's and envelopes should all be on your shopping list. The exact compositin and additional modules will depend on your style really. Hope this helps, York Sent via BlackBerry -----Original Message----- From: Jose Suarez <pepesinte@yahoo.es> Sender: Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com Date: Thu, 23 Sep 2010 15:26:08 To: <doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com> Reply-To: Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com Subject: [Doepfer_a100] Future system help Hi York: The music I create is old school type aka Berlin School, my influences are the first Tangerine Dream records (the Virgin years), Klaus Schulze, the first Neuronium years, and of course Robert Rich and Steve Roach, sometimes I play synths on several projects (pop, acid rock) but the main frame of my work is electronic music. I really love programming sounds and I think that those records were marvelous, magical so I want the touch of real analog gear. Does it help? Thanks
